The Venue
Oakridge Arena is a Kennel Club and British Dressage Approved Venue.
The Arena has been purpose built with competitor comfort in mind. The oval shaped indoor arena measures 80m x 40m with two competitor entrances and one pedestrian gate. There is an adjoining outdoor sand school 60m x 30m and a further warm-up area in the stabling field. 400+ indoor spectator seats are situated alongside the arena, complemented by a viewing gallery/terrace and decking adjacent to the restaurant. The Arena serves delicious food freshly prepared by our chef who is able to cater for any event. Showers and electric hook-ups located near the hard-standing make the arena the perfect choice for overnight events or longer stays.
The surface is a sand mix which is suitable for a range of events and can be worked according to your specifications with our specialist machinery.
The Arena has successfully hosted dressage, horseball, polocrosse, western events including reining, dog shows, dog agility, driving and in-hand showing. We have the flexibility to cater for most events and are happy to work with you to ensure that you ensure that your event is successful.
